Another day, indoors ordering in

Dec 16th, 2008
by David Faroz Precht.

If you’ve been following my twitter feed you’ll know of my new found love for Bon Iver.  They paint a scene with sorrowful yet hopeful vocals, simple rhythms like trudging through the snow, and melodies delicately falling into place, filling tracks in the powder.  For Emma, Forever Ago isn’t just refreshingly acute, it’s brilliantly understated.

‘Blindsided’ is the standout track for me, but here’s a live version of ‘Flume’.  Enjoy the snow.

Sweet site, Prechtbot, and thanks for the hot tip on Bon Iver! Right down my alley.

I wish you all the best in your reading, conversation, and most especially writing.

    CHEERS!
