Things are happening… [updated]

I’m also working on a Twitter project with my good friend Adam Dunn.  You’ll hear more about this soon, we’re hoping.

It’s been a week since my last post(s), and I felt it necessary to, again, remember that I need to write in this thing as often as possible.  Here we go, folks!

As it stands, SoulPancake.com will launch Saturday, February 7th.  That’s right, the site will launch with all it’s glory in 9 days!  9, painstaking days.  For anyone who missed it, Rainn appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno to promote the site and the DVD release of his movie, The Rocker.  A day after his appearance, we had received over 2,000 emails from people signing up.  Yeah, 2,000 people signed up for SoulPancake after a single mention on the Tonight Show.  Just think about the reaction after Oprah’s Soul Series airs on Monday, February 9th.

We’re charged and ready to go.  Also, super excited.  Sign up!

Another quick, rather personal note about SoulPancake: the very brilliant and beautiful Lindsay has joined us, and has begun creating content the likes of which you shan’t forget. GO THERE NOW!  SOULPANCAKE.COM!  BRING YOUR SPATUFIST…or whatever.

Finally, last weekend I had the chance to write a short, short story in preparation for the writing of the Big McLargehuge graphic novel I’ve been developing for over a year.  I mention this because it acts as a prequel of sorts to the novel and I’ll be posting a page of the story in the ‘Page of the Month’ section on Sunday.  Check it out!  I hope you’re as excited about reading it as I am!  Especially since I slaved over it in preparation for the pouring out my soul into a venture that will undoubtedly make or break me.  You, vultures!  I hope you ENJOY IT!

Oh, and there’s something being written about a rather famous author.  That’s all I’ll say.
